The 13th George Town (North), housed under Chung Hwa Confucian School, was first formed in 1947 and Mr. Wong Chee Kong was made the GSM for 31 years before passing over to Mr. Choong Yoon Choong who served as the GSM for a short period. Mr. Yeap Theam Oon assumed the office of ASM from Jan 1977 and subsequently GSM from 1978. With the dedication and continuity of strong leadership, the troop has been growing from strength to strength. We are delighted that both “retirees” (or commonly known as the members of Chung Hwa Confucian B-P Scout Brotherhood) and members are actively involved in the development of troop.
